Dr Daniel Golshevsky

  • Dr Daniel Golshevsky (Dr Golly) specialises in children’s acute and chronic medical conditions from birth to 18 years, with particular interests in:

    • Unsettled babies

    • Continence, constipation and toileting problems

    • Sleep & behaviour issues

    • Autism & ADHD

    • Upper airway problems

    Daniel has rooms at Cabrini Health (Malvern, Victoria), Melbourne Paediatric Specialists (Parkville, Victoria) and works at The Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne. He is a board-member with Tiny Hearts Education, providing quality, multi-lingual baby, infant and child first aid CPR and birthing courses to parents around Australia.

  • Daniel graduated in medicine at the University of Melbourne. Daniel has worked at The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) since 2009 and has three young children of his own. He is the former Chief Resident Medical Officer of RCH and is involved in the creation and maintenance of the RCH Clinical Practice Guidelines, an online paediatric resource used internationally. He is also a regular expert reviewer for the Raising Children Network website.

    Daniel has a strong interest in research, most recently exploring the impact of media and screen time on children’s sleep and behaviour. He continued his involvement with the University of Melbourne as a tutor for medical students and is also a member of the Neuro-Behavioural and Paediatric Society of Australasia (NBPSA).

    Daniel also has a strong interest in the media and its positive and negative effects on children’s health. Known in the media as Dr Golly, he appears regularly on Channel Seven’s Good Friday Appeal as well as other television and print features.

  • Fellow of The Royal Australasian College of Physicians.

    John completed his medical degree at The University of Melbourne. The majority of his paediatric training was undertaken at The Royal Children’s Hospital and Monash Children’s Hospital, in addition to several hospitals across metropolitan and regional Victoria. John served as the Chief Resident Medical Officer at Monash Children’s Hospital in his final Fellowship year, a role that nurtured his passions for collaborative healthcare and mentoring and supporting junior doctors.

  • John takes great pride in providing holistic care to children and their families. He enjoys all aspects of General Paediatrics and has additional interest and expertise in:

    • Neonatal medicine;

    • Growth and development;

    • Autism spectrum disorder (ASD);

    • Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD);

    • Toileting difficulties, including bedwetting and constipation;

    • Asthma, eczema and allergies.

    In addition to his role at Cabrini Health John works as a Paediatrician at Monash Children’s Hospital.

Dr Jolie Lawrence

  • Complex Care Fellow | The Royal Children's Hospital Melbourne

    Jolie is a General Paediatrician who specialises in medical conditions affecting infants, children and adolescents. Jolie provides considered and individualised medical care to positively impact the life trajectories of her patients and their families.

    She has broad interests including feeding and growth; developmental delay; behavioural difficulties; sleep and settling; constipation and continence; and hearing impairment.

    She provides coordinated care to children with complex chronic medical conditions, including complications of prematurity, genetic conditions, and disabilities.

    BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

    Jolie graduated in medicine at the University of Melbourne and completed her specialist paediatric training at The Royal Children’s Hospital. She has experience in paediatric and neonatal intensive care; heart, lung, and kidney medicine; and paediatric emergencies. Jolie is a teacher and mentor for paediatric trainees and uses these skills to educate and empower families.

  • RESEARCH INTERESTS
    Jolie practices up to date, evidenced-based medicine, and contributes to medical research, with several published papers in the field of paediatric infectious diseases. She will ensure children receive management plans that consider new research and practice updates.

    PRACTICE PHILOSOPHIES
    As a parent, Jolie knows the importance of holistic, family-centred care. Each child will be given a management plan that is goal-oriented yet feasible within a family’s unique context. To help families navigate the healthcare system, Jolie creates and links a robust team around a child, including GPs, allied health professionals, the NDIS, and subspecialists. She aims for families to leave her clinic room feeling calm, confident and with a clear plan in hand.

Dr Phillipa Lewis

  • Phillipa trained in paediatrics in London in the UK, she worked across the city including placements at Great Ormond Street and St Mary’s Hospitals. She completed her training in the UK in 2019 and worked as a consultant paediatrician at King’s College Hospital London before moving with her family to Melbourne in 2020. Since arriving in Australia she has worked at Monash Children’s Hospital and the Royal Children’s Hospital.

    Phillipa is a mum of two and is working with another paediatrician to develop an innovative breastfeeding product as this was a major issue for her with both of her babies.

  • Phillipa takes great pride in the rapport she develops with children and their families and the holistic care she provides. She enjoys all aspects of General Paediatrics and has additional interest and expertise in:

    • Adolescent medicine in particular eating disorders and menstrual problems

    • Toileting difficulties, including bedwetting and constipation

    • Asthma, eczema and allergies

    • Breastfeeding and feeding issues in newborn babies

    In addition to her role at Cabrini Health, Phillipa works as a Paediatrician at Monash Children’s Hospital.

Dr Natasha Ching

  • Dr Natasha Ching (Doctor Tash) is a General Paediatrician and Paediatric Infectious Diseases Physician with a strong foundation in paediatric care and infectious diseases. She graduated with honours in both her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (2011) and Bachelor of Medical Sciences (2017) from Monash University.

    Doctor Tash completed most of her paediatric training at Monash Children’s and the Royal Children’s Hospitals, with additional placements in rural and metropolitan Victoria. During her training she served as Chief Resident Medical Officer at Monash Children’s Hospital, where she supported and mentored junior medical staff.

    She attained her fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in General Paediatrics in 2018, followed by subspecialty recognition as a Paediatric Infectious Diseases Physician in 2020. Since obtaining her fellowship, she has worked as a consultant at Monash Children’s Hospital in both specialties. Doctor Tash has also worked as a locum paediatrician in remote Western Australia, gaining experience in Indigenous healthcare and neonatal retrieval medicine.

    With a strong research background, Doctor Tash has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications on childhood infections. In 2021, she contributed to global health by authoring the World Health Organisation’s report on the classification of intrathoracic tuberculosis in children.

    She is also an Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS) instructor, teaching healthcare professionals how to manage critically ill or injured children.

  • Doctor Tash is passionate about child development and empowering families through a collaborative approach to care, striving to help every child reach their full potential. As a mother of two, she combines professional expertise with personal experience to provide thoughtful and holistic care.

    While Doctor Tash enjoys all aspects of General Paediatrics and Infectious Diseases, she has a special interest in neurodivergent conditions, including giftedness, autism, and ADHD. She is particularly dedicated to supporting twice exceptional (2E) children and adolescents, who are both gifted and have additional challenges. Her commitment extends to fostering early mental health, promoting responsive parenting, and embracing the Montessori education philosophy.

    Doctor Tash's private practice is exclusively located at Empower Paediatrics at Cabrini Malvern.

    She also continues her work at Monash Children’s Hospital.

Dr Ciara Earley

  • Ciara obtained her medical degree from the National University of Ireland, Galway in 2001 and spent the first years of her paediatric training in Ireland before moving to Melbourne in 2004. She trained in several hospitals, including Monash Medical Centre, Royal Children's Hospital, and the Royal Hobart Hospital. She obtained her fellowship from the RACP in 2012. Ciara has previously worked as a consultant in the Paediatric Forensic Medicine Department of the Royal Children's Hospital and Monash Children's Hospital.


    She has a Graduate Diploma in Forensic Medicine, and a Master's in Bioethics from Monash University. She is a member of the Clinical Ethics Response Group at Monash Children’s Hospital.


    Ciara is an experienced general paediatrician and is currently working as a consultant at Monash Children's Hospital in the acute inpatient setting and the outpatient department.

  • Ciara enjoys managing children from infancy to adolescence.

    • Complex medical conditions and genetic syndromes, including Cerebral Palsy and Down syndrome,

    • Ex premature infants

    • Infantile Haemangiomas

    • Common childhood illnesses, asthma, eczema

    • Childhood growth and development.

    Ciara is a keen sailor and enjoys participating in inshore and offshore yacht races. She is also an animal lover and has two cats.
